You can do anything you put your mind to. Of course, it’s a process, but with Faith and God you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!

What was the motivation to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business one day as I was working in a cabinet shop on the south side of Birmingham,. I was the lead contractor and they would send me out in the field to bid on jobs for the shop. One day I had one of my largest bids accepted to remodel the cabinets in the dorms at UAB. The bid was for just over a million dollars. My crew and I would be responsible for the job but were only getting paid an hourly rate with no percentage of the job. It was then that I decided I wanted to work for myself not knowing how rough it would get, but I weathered the storm.

If you are thinking of starting your own business, make sure you research as much as you can before starting it. Make sure you are very passionate about your business. If you love what you do it is not considered work. You will have to work at least twice as hard for yourself as you would have to do for another job so stay persistent and it will pay off in the long run.
